I totally forgot about this tip since I've got girls.
To help prevent blowouts and leaky fluids, fold the top part of the diaper towards the infant all the way around the waist.
For the boys, it'll help curb some over active fountains. For both genders, it'll hopefully give you a little bit of protection from blowouts from the rear. Most of the girls (and I say maybe once every other week) have the blowout up the middle of their back rather than on the sides of the diaper. Having the little flap folded over helps curb the mess and the immediate sponge bath that soon follows.
