Blue Koi Happiness
Thanks to the "now I don't have to whine about school because I've got my Masters Degree" Edh, Pink and I celebrated with her and some friends and the Blue Koi in Leawood last night.
Aunt Becky came over to watch the girls, Little Blue, and she brought over Cousin Katie to play with Little Blue. She admitted she was excited and scared at the same time, but using the proven feeding/rocking technique with the girls and a some attentive toddlers, Becky still loves us and may be willing to do it again. :)
Pink and I were glad to get out too, it was the first time where both of us had been away from the girls for any length of time, together. Thankfully we're introverts, so it's not much of an issue, but it is nice to get out for a while.
Edh picked the Blue Koi, and it was delicious. With Veggienerd and Kelly in attendance, the dumplings were excellent and the company was perfect. Edh did get a little queasy when the talk got to detailed baby schtuff (Kelly has a pooch!), but laughter was shared all around. The Plum Sauce is to die for, and the Awesome sauce lived up to it's name.
And...Pink go so addicted to the dumplings that we had some more two days later.
So, congratulations to Edh for going the distance and getting her MLS. May she go forth and corrupt libraries of the world and twist them into good for all.
Or, at the very least, share her energy. There's a lot of work to be done, and she's got the enthusiasm to get it done!
