Farmers, Cowboys, and Space Cadets

I had forggotten all about the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center till I saw this article on Wired. As part of RA training, we were trained on some of Kansas' more respected visiting places.

I got major favor with Pink's Dad when we all went to go see Big Brutus. He's a Construction Guy at heart with an arsenal of big boy toys.

Anyway, Pink and I were thinking of weekend trips to do this summer, and since we're all a spacey crowd anyway, we might have to take this in.

The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center in Hutchinson is a must visit for anyone in the Wichita area. The museum building may look small from the outside, but inside it is absolutely jam-packed with a huge collection of space artifacts and replicas. They claim to be second only to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in the number of U.S. space artifacts and to have the largest collection of Russian space artifacts outside of Moscow.
